1. What categories of data does the product or service collect from me?

  • Agronomic Data

  • Land Data

  • Machine Data

Our product is designed to collect Agronomic data, land data, and machine data from your farm. Agronomic data consists of seed, planting, yield, pest management, and crop nutrition data. Land data refers to information about tillage, soil, environment, etc. Machine data is information on the health and operation of your machine. These terms are described in more detail in section 2.3 of our Equipment Lease and Data Upload Agreement. More.

2. Do the ATP’s agreements address ownership of my data after my data is transferred?

As explained in section 2.2 of the Equipment Lease and Data Upload Agreement, Farmobile believes that you (the farmer) are the owner of your Farm Data and that you should have the right to share, download, and delete your Farm Data.

3. If the ATP contracts with other companies to provide data related services, does the ATP require these companies to adhere to the ATP’s privacy policies with me?

As explained in section 2.5 of the Equipment Lease and Data Upload Agreement, any 3rd party service provider used by Farmobile that may have access to your Farm Data is required to abide by these same terms.

4. Will the ATP obtain my consent before providing other companies with access to my data?

As explained in section 2.7 of the Equipment Lease and Data Upload Agreement, Farmobile will not share your Farm Data with third parties without first obtaining your consent.

5. After I upload data to the ATP, will it be possible to retrieve my original complete dataset in an original or equivalent format?

As explained in sections 2.6 of the Equipment Lease and Data Upload Agreement, Farmobile allows you and Trusted Advisors you approve to have access to view and download your Farm Data anytime. Section 2.8 of the Equipment Lease and Data Upload Agreement explains your ability to remove your Farm Data from Farmobile.

6. Will the ATP notify me when its agreements change?

As explained in section 6.1 of the Equipment Lease and Data Upload Agreement, no change in this Agreement shall occur without your continued consent.

7. Will the ATP notify me if a breach of data security occurs that causes disclosure of my data to an outside party?

As explained in section 2.9 of the Equipment Lease and Data Upload Agreement, in the event of a data breach, natural disaster, or other unforeseen event, Farmobile will notify you by email.

8. Upon my request, can my original dataset be deleted when my contract with the ATP terminates?

As explained in section 2.8 of the Equipment Lease and Data Upload Agreement, if you chose to terminate use of the PUC and Service, you may delete your Farm Data at any time during the Term. Farmobile shall keep Farm Data for thirty (30) days after termination in order to allow you to download your Farm Data.

9. Do the ATP’s agreements establish how long my original datasets will be retained?

As explained in section 2.8 of the Equipment Lease and Data Upload Agreement, Farmobile shall keep Farm Data for thirty (30) days after termination in order to allow you to download your Farm Data.

10. Do the ATP’s agreements address what happens to my data if the ATP is sold to another company?

As explained in section 2.5 of the Equipment Lease and Data Upload Agreement, in the event Farmobile has a change in control, you will be provided notice by email and allowed to delete or remove your Farm Data before the change in control.
