1. What categories of data does the product or service collect from me?

  • Agronomic Data

ProdutorAgro collects any or all of these according to the service or product provided:

1.    Farm Management Data: it includes operational and agronomic data related to planting, seed type, yield, disease and pest management application, fertilization, and prescriptions, scouting, irrigation, harvesting and other activities, including what products are used, which tasks are done when, and by whom

2.    Land Data: it includes information about field boundaries, ownership and lease information related to those field boundaries, soil and fertility data, topographical, elevation, watershed, and drainage data, geospatial information, and tillage and conservation data;

3.    Financial data: it includes costs associated with operational and agronomic activities, input costs, labor costs, contracts and settlement information, and other data related to revenue, costs or resultant profit from farm operation. Data inputted by farmers about credits, debits and loans taken with banks, resellers, grain traders, supply chain providers and service providers. Land leasing information. Invoice data and pricing data.

4.    Weather and climate data: information sourced through a farmer’s proprietary weather stations or historical and forecasts inputted by farmers. 

5.    Machine data: information that is imported on farmer’s behalf from Third Party equipment manufacturers or software companies.

2. Do the ATP’s agreements address ownership of my data after my data is transferred?

Individual farmer’s data is owned by the user.  Aggregated Data which is anonymized by removing personal information (such as name, address, and phone number) and combined with other data is owned by ProdutorAgro.

3. If the ATP contracts with other companies to provide data related services, does the ATP require these companies to adhere to the ATP’s privacy policies with me?

ProdutorAgro’s suppliers and service providers which may have access to Farmer’s data must also follow our farmer’s Data Policy.

4. Will the ATP obtain my consent before providing other companies with access to my data?

ProdutorAgro will not share Farmer’s Individual Data with third-parties without previous consent from the user, except in cases where it may be strictly required by law.

5. After I upload data to the ATP, will it be possible to retrieve my original complete dataset in an original or equivalent format?

Any Farmer’s Data uploaded to ProdutorAgro by the user is recorded and maintained in ProdutorAgro databases, and upon request to ProdutorAgro Customer Support, ProdutorAgro will make such data available for the user in the original format, equivalent one or stored format.

6. Will the ATP notify me when its agreements change?

In the event of changes in our Data Policy the user will be notified by e-mail through the e-mail linked to the user’s account or upon the user log in into our website.

7. Will the ATP notify me if a breach of data security occurs that causes disclosure of my data to an outside party?

In the very unlikely event in which there is a breach of data, ProdutorAgro will take all the necessary legal measures and notify those who this event may affect.

8. Upon my request, can my original dataset be deleted when my contract with the ATP terminates?

Farmer’s Data is owned by the user who uploads it. Ownership gives the right to share, download, and delete Farmer’s Data.

9. Do the ATP’s agreements establish how long my original datasets will be retained?

ProdutorAgro will retain all Farmer’s Data for at least thirty (30) days after termination of the user subscription or contract of service. ProdutorAgro may retain Farmer’s Data for an undefined amount of time following termination.

10. Do the ATP’s agreements address what happens to my data if the ATP is sold to another company?

If ProdutorAgro, or substantially all of its assets, were acquired, user information would be transferred to that third party. The user acknowledges that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of ProdutorAgromay continue to use Farmer’s Data as set forth in this policy.
